Welcome to the Independent Baseball Alumni blog!  This blog will help you if you:

  • Are a former independent baseball player looking up old statistics, pictures of the stadium, old logos, and other historical information
  • A  recently-retired player who needs some useful “How-To” information & resources which will help you transition from being in uniform to the working world
  • A former player who is considering getting back into independent baseball
  • A baseball historian as this is the starting point for your historical research on every independent professional baseball team since the 1993 inception of independent ball
  • A former independent baseball team employee
  • Someone who wants to find jobs in college and professional baseball
  • Someone who enjoys contributing photos of videos of your favorite current and former independent baseball teams.  Please keep the photos, videos, and comments clean since this is an “all ages” site!
  • Someone who wants to listen to live (and possibly archived) independent professional baseball games
  • Someone who wants to contribute content such as newspaper archives, links to podcasts or other audio interviews, or behind-the-scenes information about independent baseball

  • All comments, for now, are held for moderation.  Please do not spam or blatantly promote your business in the comments or any other area where you can post
  • Please do not take any rivalry or animosity you have with other members of the sports community (professional, college, high school, or other) into this blog.  The site is designed to help people reconnect with old teammates, improve job prospects, relive fun memories, and much more.  Any “flaming” or otherwise ruining someone else’s reputation will result in your being banned.  Thank you for understanding
  • If you make blatant claims, such as being the MVP of a certain independent league one year, please do all that you can to back up that claim with third-party proof.  Links to stats pages, Wikipedia, videos, newspaper archives are requested
  • Please contribute with what you would like to see in future updates
  • Please pass along mention of this website to former teammates, front office executives, fellow interns, and anyone else who ever made an independent baseball team get off the ground when you were involved
